What is the difference between full spectrum hemp oil and CBD oil?
The main difference between hemp oil and CBD oil is that hemp oil has little to no CBD content. Hemp oil is often used interchangeably to describe different hemp extracts such as hemp seed oil and CBD oil, while they are two completely different products.
Hemp seed oil vs. CBD oil
Hemp seed oil is made by cold-pressing the seeds of the industrial hemp plant. Hemp seed oil is rich in omega fatty acids, vitamins, proteins and considered a superfood. At the same time, hemp seed oil is devoid of cannabinoids.
CBD oil is extracted from the flowers, leaves and stalks of the hemp plant (full plant extraction). Therefore, full spectrum CBD oil contains high concentrations of cannabinoids and terpenes.
Can full spectrum CBD show up on a drug test?
CBD is usually not detected in regular urine test. However, it may sometimes trigger the drug test positive. Got puzzled? Here is how it works.
CBD does not show up on a drug test. Instead, it is THC that can appear on drug tests. Full spectrum CBD contains a THC concentration of less than .3%, which is a federally legal limit.
Our THC concentrations are below the federally legal limit, but since some tests do not properly distinguish between CBD and THC, it could still trigger the drug test positive.
